## Privacy notice

**Controller.** Responsible for the processing of personal data on this website is Prof. Dr. Falk Uebernickel, reachable at the email address above.

**No tracking.** This website uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies, and it has no contact form or newsletter.

**Hosting and server logs.** The website is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a service of Google. When you visit, your browser transmits technical data such as IP address, date and time, the page requested, and browser type. Google processes this data to deliver the website and to keep it secure, and it may process it in countries outside Switzerland, including the United States. Transfers to the United States are based on the Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses.

**Fonts.** The typeface EB Garamond is loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore connects to servers of Google, which receive your IP address.

**Your settings.** If you switch between light and dark mode, this choice is stored in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.

**Contact.** If you write to me by email or on LinkedIn, I use your details only to answer your message and delete them when they are no longer needed. LinkedIn is responsible for data you share on its platform.

**External links and media.** Links to LinkedIn, YouTube, podcast platforms and publishers lead to websites of third parties. Their own privacy policies apply as soon as you follow a link. This website embeds no third-party players.

**Your rights.** Under the FADP you can request access to your personal data and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Please write to the email address above. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
